Common questions
Where is my data stored?
On your device. BFlow Pro has no server of its own, so nothing you enter is uploaded to us.
If you are signed into iCloud, your records also sync to your own iCloud account, which lets you use the same books on your iPhone and iPad. That data is encrypted and controlled by Apple under your Apple ID — we cannot see it.
My iPhone and iPad aren't showing the same data.
Check three things, in order:
1. Both devices are signed into the same Apple ID.
2. iCloud Drive is on in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.
3. BFlow Pro's own sync indicator in Settings shows iCloud as active.
If sync is off, BFlow Pro keeps working normally in local-only mode — no data is lost, it just stays on that one device until iCloud is available again.
My thermal printer won't connect.
BFlow Pro talks to 58mm and 80mm Bluetooth thermal printers directly, so the printer must be paired at the system level first: turn the printer on, open iOS Settings → Bluetooth, and pair it there before opening BFlow Pro.
Then, in BFlow Pro, open a bill and tap Thermal — the printer should appear in the list. If it doesn't, power-cycle the printer and make sure it isn't still connected to another phone; most models only accept one connection at a time.
If you'd rather not use Bluetooth, every bill can also go out as a PDF, an AirPrint job, a WhatsApp message or a digital e-receipt.
How do I back up, and how do I restore?
BFlow Pro writes an automatic backup when the app goes to the background. You can also export a backup file at any time from Settings.
To move to a new device, sign in with the same Apple ID and let iCloud sync populate the app, or restore the exported backup file directly. Keep a copy of that file somewhere safe — because your data never touches our servers, we cannot recover it for you if a device is lost and no backup exists.
What do I get with Pro, and how do I cancel?
Free accounts can create 5 entries. Upgrading to Pro removes that limit and adds profit & loss statements, the GSTR-1 tax summary, purchase orders, warehouse transfers, the digital product catalog and automatic iCloud backup.
It is $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial on your first yearly sign-up. To cancel, open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → BFlow Pro, and turn off renewal. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next charge; you keep Pro until the period runs out.
Billing and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. For a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page.
I bought Pro but the app still shows the paywall.
Open the paywall and tap Restore Existing Purchase. This re-checks your entitlement with the App Store and is the fix in almost every case.
If it persists, confirm you're signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase — a family member's account or a second Apple ID is the usual cause.
Does BFlow Pro file my GST returns?
No. BFlow Pro calculates GST on your invoices and produces a GSTR-1 summary and profit & loss statements you can hand to your accountant or use when filing yourself.
It is a record-keeping tool, not a filing service, and it does not provide accounting, legal or tax advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for compliance with the rules in your region.
Can staff use the app without seeing my profit?
Yes. Add staff members in Settings with their own PINs, then switch on cashier register mode. Staff can ring up sales and print bills, and each sale is attributed to whoever was on shift, but profit figures and analytics stay hidden until an owner PIN is entered.
